A WIX website with no ongoing costs (free site) is more than adequate for some websites, such as this one. As this website is a small business based on 'word of mouth' referrals, I don't need to professionally market the site with a custom domain and I don't need extensive SEO.

An optional 'upgrade' requires the owner of the site to purchase the required Premium Plan with WIX and if payments are to be made via your website, to set up the payment and checkout options.
